What’s New For The 25th Anniversary Republic Of Texas Motorcycle Rally
A MARRIAGE OF MUSIC AND MACHINES
The strength of the Rally has always been motorcycles and music. For 2021, we’re creating a “bigger tent” to include more two-wheel enthusiasts: builders, artisans, gear-heads, weekend warriors, newbies, and music fans of all stripes. We will be racing on the rally flat track, performing stunts, and riding in Austin’s own Peace Love Happiness Charity Ride. The Inaugural Derwood invitational Builder show will be happening in the Derwood Arena. The show will feature custom bikes designed by some of the best builders in the country competing for 10K in cash and prizes.
We’re taking a multi-genre, all day, festival approach to music. Outlaw country, alternative, punk, blues, and classic rock will have a home on the Rally stage. This year we have moved the Main Concert stage to its new home on the Rally Midway where classic rock legend Artimus Pyle of Lynyrd Skynrd and Southern Rockers Blackberry Smoke will headline. During the day, the stages will be filled with local and regional talent and special guest. Having these musicians grace our stages, we hope to give back to the scene that has been so supportive of our event. INAUGURAL DERWOOD INVITATIONAL BUILDER SHOW
The 25th Annual Republic Of Texas Motorcycle Rally will be host to the Inaugural Derwood Invitational Builder Show. Located in the Derwood Arena on the Expo Center grounds, the show will include a curated collection of motorcycles from some of the top builders in the country.
NEW PREMIUM RV LOTS AND RALLY GLAMPING
This year we will be introducing 2 new RV lots that will get you closer to the action. You can upgrade from your current RV space or purchase a new one on our website. Our new Platinum Overlook and Gold Breezeway Lots will feature large RV spaces with 50AMP services and private air-conditioned showers and restroom facilities. The spaces are located smack dab in the middle of the rally grounds and offer RV campers lots that are grass covered with oak trees that provide plenty of shade. Rally entertainment, hot spots and vendors are all just a short walk away.
Our new Rally Glamping Area offers our tent campers an upgrade that will provide an upscale alternative to sleeping under the stars.
FUEL FOR THE BODY AND SOUL
Taste of Austin: Food trucks from Austin’s smoking’ hot food scene will create a to-go sampler of Austin’s best flavors.
Our National Sponsors will be joined by regional brands that deliver more local flair.
Makers and Artisans – from fine art to pop culture – will showcase their wares.
The Motorcycle Industry will be back in a big way as we create a draw for the next generation of moto enthusiasts.
