Racing Entry Fees
- FREE – Preregister by June 1, 2018.
- FREE – Open Pro on Saturday night, register day of race.
- $20 / $10 – First class / Additional classes after preregistration.
Race Classes
- Costume + Run What Ya Brung: Ride whatever you brought and wear a costume
- Hooligan: Any production based street bike, license plate, lights, twin cylinder, 750cc min, DOT tires or flat track type tires
- Mad Dog Minis: Adults only, 150cc maximum, knobby tires allowed, air cooled 2 valve four stroke engine
- Open DTX: Production based motocross bikes up to 450cc, appropriate flat track mods including tires, framers allowed
- Open Pro: Any flat track prepared machine, DOT tires or flat track type
- Pull Start Minis: Must be pull start, but otherwise no other restrictions
- Run What Ya Brung: Just as it implies, knobby tires allowed
- Vintage Combined: Singles and twins, 1979 and older, twin shock required
- Vintage Singles: 1979 and older bikes, twin shock required, flat track tires
- Vintage Twins: 1979 and older bikes, twin shock required, flat track tires
- Trash Talk: Recommended, but most importantly just have some fun!

Registration – Flat Track Motorcycle Events
Race Rules
Racing Equipment:
- Current modern racing helmets are required.
- No half helmets, pudding bowls, or novelty helmets. Helmet must cover rider’s ears. No exceptions.
- A steel shoe is recommended, boots of a minimum height of 8”.
- Must have face shield or goggles.
- Body armor is recommended and should include back, chest, and knee/elbow protection.
- All Hooligan flat track and special demo class competitors (Run What You Brung, etc.) must wear long-sleeve shirts, and long pants.
- Racers are responsible for equipping themselves with appropriate safety equipment and do so at their own risk. JT Powersports and organizers of the ROT Biker Rally do not accept any responsibility for any bodily injuries and do not endorse or guarantee any products or manufacturers of said products.
Tech Requirements:
- All motorcycles must adhere to tech requirements prior to on track practice or racing.
- No fuel or oil is to be drained and left on the grounds.
- No fuel, oil, or hydraulic fluid leaks will be tolerated and bikes with such will not be allowed to compete.
- A motorcycle developing a leak prior to, between, or during a race will be disqualified and will not be
allowed to participate until the leak is stopped. - Recommended that foot pegs are rubber covered.
- All sharp objects must be taped or rubber covered.
- Proper working electrical or mechanical engine kill switches and self-closing throttles required.
- Motorcycles must be mechanically sound. I.e. no bad wheel bearings, swing arm bushings, steering
stem bearings, etc.
Number Plates:
- Required = One plate for the front, mounted on the fork above the front tire of the motorcycle.
- Preferred (not required) = A second number plate mounted on the left side of the motorcycle.
- Most preferred = Number plates on each side of the motorcycle.
- Number plate(s) must feature a bold, easily read 2 or 3 digit number to aid track officials with scoring.
No Rough Riding:
- No rough riding will be tolerated.
- Racers who are considered a hazard will be black flagged and
instructed to leave the track. - Disqualified racers will forfeit all entry fees/admission fees.
Alcohol:
- Alcohol consumption by competitors will not be tolerated before a race.
- Alcohol consumption by competitors during a race will not be tolerated.
- Competitors deemed intoxicated by any of the race staff will not be allowed to race.
Offenses and Penalties:
- Racers are responsible for their crew members and family members.
- Any abuse, verbal, or physical, from a racer/crew member/family member/etc. to a ROT rally organizer or official will not be tolerated.
- Offender will be disqualified and potentially removed from the premises.
Practice:
- Practice should be in race order.
- The class that a racer is signed up in will be his/her practice class.
- Each class will get at least two practice sessions.
Pit Areas:
- All pit areas are to be cleaned upon leaving the facility.
- Please do not leave oil, tires, trash, etc.
Mechanical Failures:
- If a racer qualifies for a main event and subsequently experiences mechanical difficulties, he/she may
change to another class legal machine. - But, racer must notify officials and start on the back row or the penalty line.
Flag Types:
- Red Flag:
- Races will resume:
- (a) as soon as the track is cleared and all participants are ready
- (b) if all participants are not ready to start, the races will be started with or without them no sooner or later than eight minutes after the track is cleared of any impediment.
- Races will resume:
- Black Flag:
- If a rider is given black flag, safely exit race immediately.
- Rider is disqualified from that event.
- All rules are subject to change.
